University of Vienna career to date

I joined the University in October 2018 as a tenure track Assistant-Professor in Palaeobotany.
I was awarded my Habiliation from the University in 2020.

Research Interests

A number of interests including: plant evolution through time (particularly through the Palaeozoic, the Triassic, and the Cretaceous), plant defenses and exudates especially resins and fossilized resins (ambers), their chemistry, taphonomy and their inclusions.
